Timber decks and landscaping elements are an essential part of Australia’s outside lifestyle, and add elegance and comfort to homes, commercial buildings and public spaces. The successful design of these elements for a long service life requires a clear understanding of timber’s durability, and of detailing that reduce hazards and improves client satisfaction.

This seminar will cover recent trends in deck and elements design, the key facets of detailing for durability, and the species likely to be suitable for the task.

This seminar is a must for building and design professionals including architects, engineers, building designers, builders, and educators.
