Optimised residential timber framing solutions: More from Less

Australia, along with many other countries around the world, is currently experiencing, during this COVID pandemic period, an unexpected and unprecedentedly high level of residential building activity which is causing shortfalls in supply across a wide range of building products. Demand for structural timber framing products is booming, and with supply shortfalls (in the short-term at least), as designers, fabricators, and builders, we all need to be working smarter, by optimising the use of what products we have both through basic design and new innovation.

In this webinar two of Australia’s leading timber engineers will discuss a wide range of practical optimisation options, including: how most economically to design your structural timber framing in residential homes, what the frame & truss fabricators are doing to optimise product use, the reintroduction of new nail-plated structural beam and stud products, as well as a range of new engineered/manufactured wood products and systems that are available.
