Step inside some of Perth’s timber-built homes and developments and see how different timber construction systems are being put into practice.

The WoodSolutions Timber in Action Perth Market Tour, hosted by Timber Insight, will take attendees behind the scenes of five projects across Perth on Thursday, 19 November 2026.

Across one day, you’ll see a range of timber construction approaches in practice, from mass timber and CLT to prefabricated timber frame systems, with builders and designers sharing insights from the projects along the way.

It’s an opportunity to get beyond drawings and technical information, see timber being used on real projects and connect with others working across the building and design industry.

The tour will be hosted by Craig Oatway, CEO of Timber Insight, and Kevin Peachey, Head of Built Environment at FWPA.

The tour includes:

• Zen Living – Upper storey addition
• Halcyon Illyarrie – Lifestyle village
• Saltus Built – CLT detached home
• Northerly Nara Development – Boutique townhouses
• Ron Clarke Homes – Rear extension

From additions and detached homes through to townhouses and larger developments, the day will showcase the versatility of timber across different project types and construction systems.

A private networking lunch at a beachfront venue is also included.
