Timber Testing Centre

The Timber Testing Centre is an independent, NATA-accredited laboratory offering timber testing services to manufacturers, importers, distributors, industry bodies and the general public. 

Operating since 1969, the Centre has over 50 years’ experience assessing the quality and performance of timber products including sawn timber, LVL, plywood, particleboard, fibreboard, glulam, CLT, I-beams and more. 

Originally a private facility, the Centre now serves a broad client base, providing trusted, third-party testing. With accreditation under ISO 17025 (NATA Accreditation No. 765), the Timber Testing Centre meets rigorous national standards for management systems, staff competency and testing protocols, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all results.
