Gain insights from leading experts, contribute your ideas, and explore opportunities to initiate or support projects that promote timber as a key sustainable building material at Griffith University's upcoming workshop: 'The Role of Timber Buildings in Decarbonising the Construction Industry'.
Gain insights from leading experts, contribute your ideas, and explore opportunities to initiate or support projects that promote timber as a key sustainable building material.
You will also hear the outcomes of the projects initiated during last year’s workshop and take part in selecting the new projects to be undertaken by the Department of Primary Industries of the Queensland Government as part of their involvement in the DBI network.
This workshop is presented in partnership with the Building Designers Association of Australia (BDAA), and will feature speakers from BDAA, BVN Architecture, The University of Queensland, Frame and Truss Manufacturers Association of Australia (FTMA) and The Queensland Government.

The event is free and participants can register for attendance:
- In-person: Full workshop including presentations, networking, and roundtable discussions (10:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
- Online: Presentations only (10:00 AM – 12:20 PM)
