Ta Ann Tasmania

Ta Ann Tasmania is a timber processing company operating two state-of-the-art rotary veneer mills in the Huon Valley and Smithton, regional Tasmania. 

Established in 2007 and 2008 respectively, the mills transform regrowth timber - once classified as pulpwood - into value-added eucalypt veneer used in structural plywood and high-value flooring. The business is Chain of Custody certified to the AFS/PEFC standard and supports the transition to plantation-sourced timber. 

With regular domestic and international exports via Hobart and Burnie ports, Ta Ann has helped implement government objectives to increase value from native forest resources. In 2008, the company was named Tasmanian and Australian Emerging Exporter of the Year.
