Designed for practising engineers who wish to keep abreast of the latest developments in engineered timber building systems, this all day workshop will introduce comprehensive guides on each new timber technology followed by a detailed worked example of these systems. Presentations will discuss the essential design issues for appplying this technology.

    • Timber concrete composites (TCC)
    • All timber cassette floors
    • Discussion on acoustics, vibration and fire resistance

  • Timber Connectors
    • Timber rivet connections

Presenters will be the developers of each technology plus local engineering practitioners carrying out a worked example.
