New Low Odour LOSP (Light Organic Solvent Preservative) treatment
Timberlink Australia is the first in the world to offer a new Low Odour LOSP (Light Organic Solvent Preservative) treatment that has up to 30 times less odour than traditional LOSP formulations.
“We believe new low odour Timberlink Green is one of the most innovative timber products released in Australia for some years. LOSP has become Australia’s preferred treatment for H3 outdoor treated timber with its dimensional stability and consistent appearance. It also had no complicated usage restrictions attached to it making it ideal for all above ground outdoor building applications such as pergolas and deck substructures. However the distinct odour associated with traditional LOSP treated timber can make storage, handling and usage of the product a negative experience for some customers and end-users.

General Description
TIMBERLINK GREEN low odour has substantially reduced odour compared with conventional H3 LOSP timber products. It achieves this by using Arch Wood Protection’s innovative low odour preservative.
Chemical characteristics of the preservative
It has a very low aromatic content (<0.5%). Low aromatic content provides reduced odour, improved OH&S and environmental attributes. The low odour attributes have been achieved without the use of deodorisers or masking agents. Independent studies indicate that the odour in Arch’s low odour solvent system is approximately 30x less than conventional LOSP.
Properties
The properties of TIMBERLINK GREEN Low Odour are essentially the same as conventional H3 LOSP timber products, with the most obvious difference being that the odour of the timber is substantially reduced. Dimensional stability of TIMBERLINK GREEN Low Odour along with other genuine H3 LOSP timber products is unparalleled.
Efficacy
TIMBERLINK GREEN Low Odour contains the same preservative actives used in conventional H3 LOSP timber products so efficacy will be the same.
