Who'd use wood building an urban railway station?

This Canadian video shows wood solutions in structural design and transportation. It features the Brentwood Town Centre Station, Lansdowne Station and the Kingsway Pedestrian Bridge. Perkins+Will (architects) and Fast & Epp (engineers) take us through their journey for these public spaces, from concept to design to finished structure.

Along the way they discuss some of the advantages of wood, including reducing the carbon footprint of the built structure, durability and providing a welcoming user environment.
