An eventful three days in the wine region of Hunter Valley with Master Builders Australia resulted in two outstanding wins by Souter Built and Fairbrother Construction in the WoodSolutions sponsored categories of Sustainability for residential and commercial buildings respectively.
The National Excellence in Building & Construction Awards are the industry's prestigious annual celebration which culminates in the announcement of the country's best builders in the residential, commercial and civil/infrastructure construction and recognition for the projects that have won them acclaim.
This year, two new awards were launched to focus on sustainability.
“Master Builders has partnered with WoodSolutions to launch the WoodSolutions National Sustainability Residential Building Award and the WoodSolutions National Sustainability Commercial Building Award.”
“These awards recognise excellence in incorporating sustainability principles into both residential and commercial building from sustainable design principles, use of sustainable materials, and incorporating sustainability practices during the construction process to deliver better sustainability outcomes from the built environment,” said Denita Wawn, Master Builders Australia National CEO.
