Revamped and renewed, the dated interior of this established barbershop emerges as a dual space. Capatilising on the lack of coffee in the area, the shop maximises all forty of its square metres to establish a relaxing hub for locals and passers by.

Inbetween Architecture and Curious Grace collaborate to produce this dynamic exhibition. Elevating and encouraging visual interest and engagement from passers-by, the dressed pine timber stall complements the furniture design elements without competing with them.

Using practical and intelligent design, a beautiful spine-like structure of the curved ceiling transforms the Orana Overture Hall into an organism and a vessel for music and performance.

A welcome contrast to the surrounding 'concrete forest' of the CBD, the rooftop bar of the Corner Hotel utilises FSC new regrowth blackbutt to provide a refreshing change of pace.

This transformation of a 1920s industrial building creates transparency between the local community and childcare environment. Timber within the playground creates a textured landscape connected with the playground's trees, while the interior re-imagines the urban fabric at a child’s scale.

A sensitive redevelopment of this historic rural property (est.1841) results in a function venue with a simple and striking palette of materials. The adaptive reuse of the property reconnects the site with the community.

This contemporary fitout is designed to energise and inspire. A natural material palette creates a calm, durable backdrop ideal for work and reflection, bringing nurturing qualities of warmth and connection to nature.

This inspirational educational space provides flexible, open learning spaces to suit small children. The design boldly removes all fixed walls between three teaching spaces, connecting them by a central timber spine.

This retail space is transformed by careful planning, with various themed zones providing a sense of movement and a change of terrain. An intricate system of interlocking timber triangles forms the heart of the store.
