Recently the Australian Building Codes Board adopted a new voluntary deemed-to-satisfy (DTS) solution in the BCA for timber building systems for apartment, hotel and office buildings up to an effective height of 25m.

This free seminar will explore how mass and light-weight timber systems can be used today for multi-residential and commercial building applications in Australia. Come and hear industry experts discuss key design, specification and supply details and present practical case studies. Experienced design professionals will speak on recent examples of multi-storey massive and light timber buildings in Australia to illustrate the design, structural performance and cost savings of timber buildings.

Engineered wood product and service suppliers will also be on hand to discuss the solutions they can provide.

This seminar is a must for all building and design professionals including architects, engineers, building designers, certifiers, developers, builders, regulators and educators.
