‘The Macarthur Gardens Project’ in Campbelltown – Hard Hat  Tour – will give you a first, exclusive glimpse at Australia’s largest cross laminated timber (CLT) project by volume (3,000 cubic metres).

A Tour of ‘The Gardens’ will broaden your thinking on the advantages of building with CLT, a relatively new method of timber construction in Australia. This method has been widely accepted as a preferred innovative, environment friendly building material for medium and mid-rise construction in Europe and the US for over 15 years.

CLT brings a number of unique advantages to the table that present efficiencies without sacrificing structural integrity, design or build quality.

The project’s builder, NSW based Strongbuild, teamed up with leading structural engineers, AECOM, to ensure the structural integrity and durability of the material met BlueCHP’s expectations as a long term owner and landlord of the properties.

The Macarthur Gardens residential project in Campbelltown, the largest affordable housing project that has been delivered without any government funding, will comprise of 6, 7 and 8 storey apartment buildings.

We invite all design professionals who have an interest in engineered wood and mid-rise timber buildings to register for this exciting tour.

The Macarthur Gardens in Campbelltown – Hard Hat Tour is organised by WoodSolutions and Strongbuild.
