This seminar explores how Cross-Laminated Timber can be used today for multi-residential, commercial and public building applications. Key design, specification and supply details are discussed, and practical case studies on recently constructed buildings presented. Using mass timber in multi-storey residential and commercial buildings is now a reality in Australia. Increasing availability of Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT), along with changes to the National Construction Code, provide opportunities offered with this exceptional building material.
