Description

The second webinar of this 3 Part series will be delivered by one of industry’s leading Timber Engineers, Mr Afzal Laphir. This webinar will cover the requirements for Bracing of residential homes as per AS1684

Afzal will provide the ‘pearls of wisdom’ of what users need to know about using AS1684 for wall bracing. Given the current trend of open plans and large openings, he will explain the challenges of keeping bracing design within the scope of AS 1684 and also discuss some common issues around specification – tie-down requirements, narrow bracing units, product availability and alternatives etc.

Our final webinar in this AS1684 will be on 7th June - Tie-downs and connections - Tim Rossiter

If you are a user of AS1684 then don’t miss this special WoodSolutions webinar series.
