Olympic Exhibition Centre - Sydney

The Olympic Exhibition Centre, which was constructed for the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, uses timber as a structural element and finish.

One of the largest structures is the hall and timber dome of the Exhibition Centre. The Exhibition Hall was designed and constructed using glulam, specified by the architects, Anchor, Mortlock and Wooley for its unique aesthetics, cost effectiveness and environmental credentials. The dome is one of the largest clear span timber structures in Australia.
